In 1968, Larry "Wild Man" Fischer put out a Frank Zappa-produced vinyl album titled An Evening With Wild Man Fischer. Over three decades later, he remains a cult figure, and is the subject of the 64-page Top Shelf publication The Legend of Wild Man Fischer.
